The Annual Problem for Our Generation

By Helen Naizghi

Summer is almost here!

My favorite season where leisure time is unlimited and cool breezes make me forget all about the stressful school year. I usually have nothing to do in summer, so I maintain a well-structured schedule revolving around the following activities: eating and sleeping. This summer, I am determined to make a change. I will not rest until I enjoy each and every day; after all, summer doesn’t last forever.

My cartoon heroes, Phineas and Ferb understand, and continue to conquer, my dilemma. Though I probably can not build a roller coaster in one day, their enthusiasm is spot on. If I am ever asked “Whatcha doing?” my answer will be “Living each day to the fullest!”.

I am sure I am not the only Herculean that suffers from summer-laziness, so I concocted a list of a few amazing and possible adventures awaiting.
